Mike Gerber holds Press Conference with Rendell to Oppose Asset Test for Food Stamps

Pa. state Rep. Mike Gerber is joined by former Gov. Ed Rendell at a Capitol news conference to preserve the state program that helps the needy afford groceries in the face of a proposal by Gov. Corbett to institute an "assets test" for recipients that could kick people off the program for having as little as $2,000 in total assets. This asset test would unfairly impact seniors and single working parents.
